OUR NEW TOP TEN LIST: HOW WILL THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS DISAPPOINT THEIR FANS THIS YEAR?

The Minnesota Vikings have existed 63 years, and yet the team HAS NEVER won a SuperBowl. Wow, now THAT'S A RATHER DISAPPOINTING ACCOMPLISHMENT!

In their long and disappointing history, the CLOSEST the Minnesota Vikings have come to NOT DISAPPOINTING THEIR FANS was in 1985, when they finished with a 7-9 record. They improved over the previous year when the team finished with an abysmal, DISAPPOINTING 3-13 record.

There was the strike year in 1987-1988 when The Mighty Vikes defeated The New Orleans Saints AND The San Francisco 49ers in play-off games on the road, before disappointing their fans in the NFC Championship game.

The Vikings played in four SuperBowls, disappointing their fans all four times. The Vikings finished the 1998-1999 season with a 15-1 record, and yet they failed to make it to The SuperBowl. Highly disappointing.

The Minnesota Vikings have disappointed their fans in so many, various ways in their 62 years in existence. With the new N.F.L. season beginning in just a few weeks, our question this week is 'How will the Vikings disappoint their fans in 2025-2026?

Here from our home office in Bovey, Minnesota is our new TOP TEN LIST. THESE ARE THE TOP TEN MOST PROBABLE, POSSIBLE WAYS THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS WILL DISAPPOINT THEIR FANS THIS YEAR:

10. The team will be depleated by injuries and finish with a losing record

  9. The team misses out on the playoffs by losing to a team with a losing record.

  8. Like all Minnesota profressional sports teams, WE WITNESS A LATE SEASON COLLAPSE

  7. They play more like The Minnesota Possums, playing dead at home, and getting killed on the road

  6. They lose games they should win.

  5. The season comes down to a 20 yard chip-shot field goal and......WIDE TO THE LEFT!!!!

  4. Our defense stop the other team on 4th down.... but WAIT........Penalty on The Vikings. The other team scores on  the very next play. VIKINGS LOSE AND MISS THE PLAY-OFFS.

  3. WHO CARE? The NFL is FIXED.

  2.  One week, Viking offense is flat. The next week, Viking defense looks awful.

  1.. THE VIKES MAKE IT TO THE SUPERBOWL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 48 YEARS.......AND LOSE.
