Hello, This is Ted Koppel, and this is RedSquirrel's Twitter Account Hostage Crisis, Day 22......
Joe Deal, aka RedSquirrel begins his third week locked up in Twitter Jail for 'hateful conduct.' He saw a video posted on Twitter of a group of Muslim migrants dancing in a very small boat.
They were on their way to Europe. Mr. Deal deduced that the group of males were headed to Europe to do what Muslim males do while in Europe:
Murder, rape, set cities on fire, establish no-go zones, wage jihad, or as Muslims call it 'cultural enrichment.'
And so, the blogger replied to the video by tweeting the following:
'Maybe a well-placed torpedo would wipe the smiles off their faces.'
A few minutes later, Mr. Deal was informed that he was suspended from Twitter for engaging in 'hateful conduct.'
In the view of this grizzled journalist, it seems as if Mr. Deal's tweet was singled out in a highly unreasonable manner. Twitter is a non-stop sea of attacks and counter-attacks,insults, snark and vitriol.
Right after one Muslim terrorist attack, the darling of jihadis and leftists Ilhan Omar (currently a member of the U.S. Congress) tweeted:
'Allah Akbar.'
Why was RedSquirrel suspended but Omar wasn't? It seems like Twitter is protecting some but punishing their opponents.
Lara Loomer was thrown off of Twitter after exposing Islamic extremists, videotaping them and sharing the videos on Twitter.
Mr. Deal's blog and his tweets are sarcastic in nature, but it appears that Twitter believes they have the incredible ability to read his heart and mind.
Maybe Twitter should just warn their members when they are in danger of crossing the line instead of suddenly suspending them. Just a thought.
This is Ted Koppel. Good night.
