Ted Koppel: Joe Deal Has Been Suspended From Twitter. Again.

Imagine if you were around during World War 2, and Twitter existed back then. Let's say that you believed that German Dictator Adolf Hitler was a psychotic murderer, and you saw newsreals of the ovens and gas chambers at Auchwitz or Duchau. You take to Twitter and tweet, 'He should be hunted down, shot dead, or be arrested and put on trial.'

Whether the hypothetical tweet in question is directed towards 'The Night Stalker' Richard Ramirez, the murderous Manson Famiy, or ANY murderer, a reasonable person would understand that you would be expressing moral anger.

Well, you would probably be suspended from Twitter for violating their rediculous, context-free rules against 'threatening or abusive' speech

We brought you the story of Joe Deal, known to his readers as 'RedSquirrel.' He was suspended on July 22, 2019 for violating Twitter's crazy, capricious rules. The 'Twitter Support Staff' took his Twitter account hostage for 1,009 days. Meanwhile Psychopathic Islamic mullahs and dangerous child groomers aren't suspended. He was finally re-instated on April 26, 2022.

Now, Joe Deal has been suspended AGAIN. On June 6th, he saw a video of a Black man following his victim before sucker -punching him. The victim fell face-first into the sidewalk, and died. This made Joe Deal very angry, and he tweeted the following:

'These psychotic animals should be hunted down, shot dead, or given the electric chair,'

It's arguable that Joe Deal may have over-reacted, but you have to wonder if he was suspended because the assailent in the video was Black. Are Twitter employees just stupid, or are they censoring Joe Deal because he is a conservative. His tweet was reasonable. Our society puts violent criminals to death quite often.

Joe Deal 'tweeted' something, and was suspended, but the moral and mental midgets at Twitter don't seem to have any opinion of the violent Black assailent. They don't seem to notice Mr. Deal's anger was quite reasonable. His 'abusive' comment was directed to the killer.

Joe Deal filed an appeal, and was told that Twitter's decision will stand. We don't know how long his Twitter account will remain locked.

I am Ted Koppel. Goodnight.
